Well where do I start! I have four little girls and I had my third daughter on New Year's Day 2005, with the help of Jennie and her staff. It was a beautiful experience, it was all about us and the baby which made me feel comfortable. I had such a great experience with my first one, that I had my fourth baby girl in August 2006 with the help of Jennie again. I got lucky and had my baby before Jennie went to London, I was so happy I wouldn't have had it any other way! Jennie and her staff are great people, she made me feel comfortable and she really cares about her patients. Its such a shame I won't be having anymore babies as we'll miss going to The Birth Place. I had a unique birthing experience and I would recommend anyone to have a child naturally. I was scared at first and I didnt have to perfect labor but I enjoyed my experience and I thank Jennie and The Birth Place staff. We have three boys already and have decided that we've had enough children, but our experience at the Birth Place was just that wonderful. Our labor started around 5:00 p.m. and our son was born at 8:15 p.m. Everyone supported us, encouraged, prayed, meditated, and finally blessed the welcoming of our baby. It was nothing like the experience in the hospital which was very clinical, cold, and antiseptic. The physician "took over" the birth and the nurse almost insisted that we get the epidural. The hospital experience made us feel as if we were not even a part of the birth of our first son. At the Birth Place, we were treated like family and given total control of how we wanted it to go. I could not have had a better, more relaxed birth. We are still thanking Jennie and her staff for their love and care.

Wow what an amazing experience, from start to finish. The staff is so welcoming it's like you become a part of their family the minute you walk through the door on the day of your first appointment. Most of my appointments were with Onidis who also joined us at the birth of our son Dylan. She was the best; friendly, fun, so easy to talk to and full of knowledge and experience. I was also blessed to find Elena who is so much more then a smiling face behind the front desk; she was also the best doula I could have hoped for. I am so thankful that I was able to have such a beautiful birth experience; I only wish I could have done the same for my first son.

I recently had my first baby at The Birth Place. I really didn't know what to expect but Jennie really took control and made everything go so smoothly. She was calm, professional, and such a blessing to all of us. The Birth Place is such a calm setting and the perfect place to bring a new little one into the world. I cannot express how much I appreciate all the hard work the ladies at The Birth Place put forth every day. We now have three beautiful children, Jennie delivered all three, and if we have more children I will be back for sure! Elena is so amazing and sweet, she always has a smile for everyone who walks in. Katrina always made me feel comfortable, even while getting blood drawn :-) Onidis is so awesome and caring and always takes her time to listen to you and your concerns and always willing to help with any problems or questions. Amy is so sweet and caring. I didn't see Amy very many times but she was very funny and just a great person to be around when I did see her. Jennie, well Jennie is my hero... Jennie delivered our first child for us when I was 17 and my husband was 18. Jennie has always taken the time out to talk to me, even though I know she is so very busy. Any time I have had concerns or questions she has sat down with me and we have always been able to talk it out. She even called me on a weekend to check on me. Jennie will ALWAYS hold a very special place in my heart. I am so thankful for each and every one of these ladies. Thank you all so much for everything you do! Jennie gives pregnancy a whole new meaning. With all of the ups and downs of pregnancy Jennie is one of the best things about the experience of being pregnant and caring for our unborn child. Our family has discussed moving out of state on a number of occassions and the one drawback remains having to leave our dear midwife, Jennie, who is really regarded as an extension of our family. You will quickly learn that one of Jennie's priorities is to treat pregnancy as the wonderful family event it is and she has earned our children's adoration for that. We have had three healthy, beautiful babies with Jennie at our side and our last one weighed in at an amazing 9 lbs 3oz!!! Anyone blessed enough to be a patient of Jennie's is sure to reap the rewards!
